Going to Florida... BE JELOUSE

Haha, that's right. Tonight I will be on my way to Florida in a drivable camper (not sure the proper name for it ha). It is going to be like the Griswold vacation trip (you know those hilarious Chevy Chase old movies?), my mom, dad, brother, Zach, baby niece, and possibly my brother's girl. For the long haul all the way to Bonita springs (which is way south of Florida). So it will be a drive. But I am soo excited to get out of crappy Ohio and see some sunshine! :)
We will only be there for a long weekend to surprise my grandpa for his 80th birthday. It will be like a mini family reunion. I have not seen all my family in years! So it should be nice. :)


The only downside to this is that I will be missing classes, which is never good, since attendance policies are so strict! Ugh. Ohwell.


So right now, I am finishing up school work and packing. Cannot wait to see my family!

Soooooo much to do

Happy belated valentines day! Mine was fabulous, consisting of delicious cheese foundu, whine, and yummy chocolate cake, and of course my valentine, Zach.


But now today, it is back to reality, i am now in the process of finishing up my massive about of school work. (but obviously taking a little break) I wish I could just student teach everyday instead of also going to class and being bombarded with ridiculous amounts of work to do. I am it really isn't hard stuff, and I actually wouldn't mind doing it, it is just that it is soo much work at one time. Ugh. Oh-well, i'm sucking it up and doing it! I am going to be up all night finishing this, then I have to put my happy face on bright and early for my little kindergartners.


Tomorrow We will be cake tasting and designing! :) I am soo excited, but glad to finally get this cake stuff done and over with, after many attempts to actually get this appointment, I will be relived once we get it done!


Off to do more work.. yay! (that might have been sarcastic..lol)

Yet another snow day!

Well, here I am again, in my apartment instead of student teaching because of this crazy snow storm. Although I must say, I would much rather be student teaching than going to class. I have class Thursday and all day Friday, I cannot stand to be in those classes. They last so long and I have a short attention span! Sitting in my seat for that period of time is awful I just wish I could get up and run around the room instead of listening to a lecture. Most times what I am learning about is very interesting and worth knowing but after so long my mind starts to wonder and I can no longer pay attention. I am a daydreamer... a big one! It is a problem I should probably work on. Haha. Anyways considering the weather is suppose to be better tomorrow and Friday I know I will have class. Ugh, I just wish the storm could have waited to come at the end of the week so that I could actually go student teach, which is what I love, and then be able to stay home instead of going to class. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of luck. Oh well, I will just be grateful that I have today to be at home.

I have a list of things I am trying to get done today, yesterday was not a very productive day for me, I was so excited to have the day off I spend most of the day being lazy and watching movies! :) Hey, don't judge me, I wanted to take advantage of this rare time off. But today I will be productive! I have made myself a list of things to do, and time frame I have to do it (so that I make sure I have enough time to get it all done). 

I know what you are thinking.. I am not being productive right now writing in this blog, I know, I agree haha but I did get one thing crossed off  the list for today and as soon as I'm done wasting my time with this post I will try to complete most of everything on my list. This morning I will admit I havn't done too much, but I re watched some of my favorite youtube viedos that I wanted to share.  here you go!

Okay time to get busy!

Snow Storm!

We are currently under a severe weather alert for this crazy ice storm. The school I student teach at got canceled, but I did go out to my car this morning to get something, and literally slid all the way to my car in the parking lot. I feel like I could get my ice skates on and go ice skating in my parking lot!!(Like this guy in the video!)

Well I have lots to do today on this day off. I'm going to try to get school work done, and a little wedding planning. Still trying to figure out favors, who to hire for a DJ, florist, and cake. AHHH!

My first post!

Hi everyone. I have been wanting to start a blog for quite some time now, I just never got around to it. Anyways, this will probably just be a place for me to vent about my life.

I am currently engaged to a wonderful man, Zach.  ^ above is a picture of us. I recently dyed my hair dark, so it is weird to see that picture of me with dark hair!

Anyways Zach is my everything, and I am so excited to get married. The wedding will be June 25th, it will be an intimate wedding with only about 50 people present, only family and close friends. I have never been a fan of huge weddings. Even though I am so excited for the wedding, I never imaged it would be so stressful to plan, and expensive (even for a small wedding, prices are outrages!) It makes my life even more stressful because on-top of trying to plan a wedding I am also in school full time for early childhood education, student teaching, and working a nanny job. So things in my life are crazy! 
But at the same time I love it. 
I have fallen in love with the kids where I student teach (I'm in Dayton public schools) and just want to adopt them all. They are all so sweet and I just know a lot of them are not going home to a good home life. I enjoy everyday I get to take charge and have the teacher role; it makes me confident everyday that that is what I actually want to do, teach. The other day I had this cute little boy tell me multiple times that I was beatiful! Oh my gosh, he sure made my day!


Anyways, I plan to post something a few days a week or so!
