37 weeks 3 days

Here I am at 37 weeks! I can't believe it I am officially full term now! It feels great to know that he’s (relatively) safe to come at any time!
Zach wasn't here to take a picture so I had to take it myself. Brady Andrew is getting big and I am ready for his arrival!

Brady should be about 6-6.5 pounds now! Wow!

I have noticed I get slight swelling sometimes throughout the day, not much though, I am so happy that at 37 weeks I am still able to wear my wedding rings, I have heard of so many women who couldn't wear their rings because of swelling, not the case for me! Yay.
I have been having braxton hicks contractions and now they seems to be coming more frequently and lasting longer. I am so uncomfortable theses days, especially with sleeping. I never get any sleep! I wake up constantly, and I'm getting up much earlier than usual.

I can't believe we are so close to actually meeting our son and becoming parents!  Through all the ups and downs, I have to say that I truly loved being pregnant. Don't get me wrong there has been some horrible moments, especially in my first trimester,  but pregnancy has really changed the way I view life. It's such an amazing miracle that there is life growing inside my belly, and every jab and kick reminds me I am creating a little miracle, my son! I have tried my best to embrace my belly, even through all my wardrobe changes trying to find something that looks okay with my giant belly. Pregnancy has been an incredible experience despite the ups and downs!  And while I know I will love, love, being a mother as well, it’s strange to think that this part of the journey is coming to an end.  It has been so long since I thought of myself as just “me” and I wonder what that will feel like again. But I am ready! I am ready to feel like "me" again, and ready to hold my baby boy in my arms.

With the nursery all finished and ready to go, now we’re just kind of hanging out and waiting for him to get here.  I feel as prepared as we can be at this point!  I’m holding off on buying anything else until we see what he likes and needs, so I don’t end up wasting money on things we won’t use.

My grandparents sent me a glider chair! It will be perfect for rocking/gliding baby Brady!

Here are some more pictures from the baby shower a few weeks ago!

We played the game: Guess what baby food you are eating!  We covered the jars to hide the name of the food.

Madi loved helping me unwrap my gifts!

The guys at the baby shower.

Well I am very anxious to meet Brady! Believe or not,  I am not worried or scared, just anxious and excited!! I just want to see him already, pregnancy has been so long, and this last month has felt like a century! Soon our little prince will be here and our family will be complete. I am excited to be a mother.

37 weeks - full term!

It's just a waiting game now....

35 weeks

OMG only 5 weeks to go!!

My little boy is now as heavy as a giant bad of carrots, or a honeydew melon!

Brady is about 5.4-6 pounds this week.... (YES 6!!!!) and based on how hard it is for me to roll over in bed or get up from sitting down, I would say 6 pounds is about right. He is heavy!

According to my sources Brady is just about done growing in length now and is just fattening up and getting strong for birth. I have a feeling he is going to be a little early! I just feel "done".

I have been having the worst symptoms lately with back aches, frequent bathroom trips, and fatigue. Also everyday tasks simply wear me out now.  Also I have been experiencing light headed and dizziness lately too.Other than those common symptoms I'm stilling feeling good, and am happy. The closer i get to the end the more excited and anxious I am to meet my little prince. I have suddenly become miss organizer and cleaner queen as I have suddenly gotten the urge to get everything ready for the baby. We still need a dresser and bookshelf and cannot wait until we finally get it so I can continue putting stuff away and making his room perfect!

Also I have found it especially pleasant to learn that people are super nice to pregnant women!! I have had strangers come up to me and tell me I look adorable being pregnant, or people waiting a little longer to hold the door open for me even if I'm not right behind them. I'm trying my best to really appreciate this new compassion from strangers because I know it wont last!

34 weeks

Welp here I am 34 weeks pregnant! You are probably thinking that that shirt looks familiar, that's because I am running out of clothes that fit me! I cycle through the same few outfits all the time!! The closer I get to the end the less variety I have to work with with my wardrobe. Oh well!

At 34 weeks My baby is the size of a honeydew! The melons are back! Is it just me or are these fruit and veggie comparisons all over the place!? Sometimes it's based on size, or length, and some weight. This week I think we are back to weight. About 5 pounds, otherwise known as a honeydew! :)

The pounds are what really amazes me. I know that many babies have been born in the 5-6 pound range and its hard to think that one of those is in my belly!

I had an ultra sound at my last doctors appointment because there was a concern that Brady may still be breech or transverse, but luckily he wasn't! At the ultrasound he was in the correct head down position! I was soo happy! I was stressing so much about it, I was worried that I would have to have him turned by the doctor pushing and tugging at my belly which is uncomfortable for me and the baby! Or there was the possibiliy that I might have to have a c-section if he wouldn't turn! I was so scared I didn't want any of those things to happen. But luckily my little boy decided to finally flip on his own and is now just where he needs to be for birth!! :)
Also, I am measuring a week ahead of schedule. So either I am having a big baby or this little guy may meet the world a little early. I'm thinking a 4th of July baby?!? :)

This week Brady has been moving like crazy, and he has been having the hiccups, A LOT! It's so funny to watch my stomach when he gets the hiccups.. haha I love it though!

How I'm doing:

Even though I am extremly exhausted every night when I go to bed I am having restless nights of frequent pee breaks and tossing and turning, while trying to get comfortable. I wake up about every hour to go pee, it's ridiculous! Plus my back is constantly aching!
Sooo, unfortunately the back pain and subsequent lack of sleep has continued this week.

~Sleep=impossible!
~Bending over= a great Olympic challenge (Zach has to help me put on pants!)
~Eating= all the time.. I'm always hungry!!
~Baby room= almost done, we still need a dresser, a tree decal, and a rug (will post pics when it's complete!) and I need to finish washing clothes and blankets!
~Things we still need for Brady= A lot!
~Belly= ginormous!
 (wasn't ready for this picture!)

I can't believe that baby Brady will be here in less than 6 weeks (or even sooner!) And, I finished my last day student teaching, happy graduation to me!!!
I am so happy I will be a new mom AND a college graduate, with a loving husband and new house. Life is good! :)
