39 weeks

39 weeks and 4 days pregnant... and still no baby!!!I have been doing some reading and found that more common than not first time mothers usually go past their due date unless induced... ahhhh. So now I'm wondering if this guy is going to be late. I still have 3 more days until my due date.. but as of right now I have not had any contractions or any signs that he is coming soon. 


But I sort of feel like a ticking time bomb that could go off at any time.  At any given moment, I feel like I need to be totally ready and caught up on everything – laundry, dishes, work, etc. am finding myself constantly picking up the house, the last thing I want to worry about is coming home to a messy house after giving birth. 


I go back and forth from feeling ready and feeling absolutely terrified on an hourly basis at this point, but I assume that is normal. I just get worried about starting work so soon after giving birth.. I really hope I can do it with ease. If you haven't heard already I landed my dream job as a kindergarten teacher, and the first day of school is August 15th, but I also have to be at teacher in service day the 14th, open house for the school on Aug 4th and open house for just my room on the 7th. Ahh. Luckily those days I wont be actually teaching wont be there all day, but still that is so soon! But the sooner he comes the more time i have for recovery and one on one time with my little boy. This baby is already very loved, and I know that people are so anxious for news – I get texts often of people asking for updates and I feel bad when I have none. He seems pretty happy in my belly for at least a few more days! 

I just weighed myself today and I have gained a total of 32 pounds!! Holy moly.. I am huge! Hopefully I can shed the weight easily! 

Well that's about it.. I am just waiting and waiting.. any day now he will be here!
