My life as a soon to be mother of a boy :): Pregnancy blog!

Hi, Well I have been meaning to create a pregnancy blog, but just never got around to it. So now that I am 16 almost 17 weeks pregnant (Wednesday), I think I should finally start. So here is my first belly shots. I know I should have started earlier, but I just never saw a point since I wasn't really starting to show until recently. But now I am determined to post a new blog with a picture every week! Hopefully I can pull it off. I am so excited to finally be in my second trimester. Right now the baby's hearing is developing which is exciting, he or she can hear my lovely voice! Maybe I will try singing more instead of just in the shower lol!!

Here is a brief summary of my first trimester: sick, sick, sick, sick, sick!!!! And tired!

Now that I am into my second trimester my energy level is starting to get better. I still get tired easy, but at least I'm not falling asleep every time I sit or lay down. I feel much better and rarely feel sick. (Now I have got sick a few times since I've been in my 2nd trimester, but it is so so much better!) I am so happy that so far the second trimester is treating me well! What is really weird is that during my first trimester when I was constantly sick, I seemed to be at my worst during the evenings. I threw up almost after every dinner I ate. I can remember always hovering over the toilet in the evenings and Zach leaving for work (how convenient!) since he works nights, and I would just be in tears, wondering if something was wrong with me. I was so Miserable!!

Right now my currently craving are lemons, and pasta, my face is breaking out like crazy, and I'm starting to get very emotional. The silliest things are making me cry lately!

Gender? We find out the sex of the baby on February 16, and cannot wait! I want to know the gender sooo bad it's killing me. I took 3 different pregnancy gender quizzes, you know those silly ones that base you answers off of old wives tales? yeah well I just did it for fun. I took 3 of them, one said Boy, the other two said girl! Ahh. so who knows!! I have no preference for either a boy or girl, I just want a healthy baby!
